YMCA Auckland wanted to regularly communicate with partners, like the Council and Ministry of Education, funders and stakeholders, about their community programmes – sharing the positive stories about what the organisation was achieving.
As well as establishing monthly enewsletters, Intelligent Ink helped YMCA Auckland to create a quarterly print magazine, called Community, which would be sent to those people and could then sit in lunchrooms, or on coffee tables, being read by a wider audience than just those that they had email addresses for.
This is the first issue for 2013, which has been very positively received. We’re already looking forward to working on subsequent issues and seeing these come together.
One of YMCA’s Life Members (and former CEO) sent the following feedback when his copy arrived to his mailbox: “Congratulations on the first issue of ‘Community’ which I received in the post today. I found the publication informative, very classy and upmarket – love the new branding! Well done, keep up the great work – I feel very proud to be associated with the Y.”
Just what we like to hear! Kev, from the Mt Albert Centre, also maintains that they have had positive feedback from local Councillors, members and the public who have come across this first issue.
